Estefan Pieterse is a Microbiologist who specialises in the field of mycology. He is currently completing a master’s degree in Microbiology at the North West University. His project focusses on the distribution patterns of pathogenic yeasts on microplastics in the environment. Estefan has been a Golden Key member since 2017.
